1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
The loewen.pl and lab.loewen.pl websites use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. local storage, pixels) that are stored on the User’s end device (computer, phone, tablet). 3. Purposes and legal basis for the use of cookies
- We process necessary cookies on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (the Administrator’s legitimate interest in ensuring the proper functioning and security of the Websites).
- We use analytical, functional and marketing cookies only after obtaining the User’s consent – Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR in conjunction with the provisions of the ePrivacy Directive.
4. Consent management tool (CookieYes)
The websites use the CookieYes consent management platform, which allows you to:

- change cookie settings at any time,
- withdraw consent as easily as it was given.
The cookie settings panel is accessible from the cookie banner and via the permanent “Cookie settings” button/link on the Websites.
5. Third parties / recipients of cookie data
Depending on the cookie settings and the scope of consent, data may be shared with providers of technical, analytical or marketing tools, in particular:
- hosting and IT service providers,
- providers of statistical and marketing tools (e.g. Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd., Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.).

6. Cookie storage period
Cookies are stored for the time specified in the parameters of a given file (session or fixed validity period) or until they are deleted by the User. For cookies used on the basis of consent, until such consent is withdrawn.
7. Voluntary provision of data
Providing data related to the use of the Services is voluntary. The User can manage cookies independently through the CookieYes panel or browser settings. Blocking cookies other than those that are necessary may limit the functionality of some of the Services, in particular analytical functions, functional preferences and content personalisation.
8. How to withdraw consent or delete cookies
The user may at any time:
- change the scope of consent or withdraw consent via the CookieYes panel,
- delete cookies in their browser settings and change their settings for saving cookies,
- withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
9. Transfer of data outside the EEA
In connection with the use of third-party tools, data obtained from cookies may be transferred to third countries (the USA). The transfer is based on mechanisms compliant with the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (if the provider is certified). The user may obtain a copy of the security measures applied to the transfer of data to third countries or information about the place where it is made available by contacting the Administrator.
